Your iTunes library,
on Android.

iSyncX copies songs and playlists from iTunes for Windows to your Android device over Wi-Fi, and writes the play counts and star ratings from Android back to iTunes.

Free for up to 300 songs. To sync all your songs, you buy it once in the app. No subscription.

What it does

Songs and playlists

Sync all songs or just the playlists you choose over Wi-Fi. Interrupted syncs resume. Playlists are also saved as .m3u, so other players can use them.

Play counts back to iTunes

Just listen in your favorite music player. iSyncX records play counts and last played dates and reflects them in iTunes, counting plays the same way iTunes does.

Star ratings, both ways

Ratings you give on Android go to iTunes. They also stay in step with the 5-star ratings in Poweramp and PlayerPro.

Undo anytime

Every write to iTunes can be undone, one by one. Before the first write each day, iSyncX backs up your iTunes library automatically.

No cloud, no account

Your data travels only between your PC and your Android device, on the same Wi-Fi, over an encrypted connection.

Never deletes from your PC

iSyncX never deletes songs, playlists, or your iTunes library on the PC.

Requirements

PCWindows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. Mac is not supported.
iTunesiTunes for Windows (64-bit). Get it from "Looking for other versions?" on Apple's download page (apple.com/itunes).
The Microsoft Store version of iTunes, the Apple Music app, and the Apple Devices app can't be used for syncing.
AndroidAndroid 8.0 or later.
NetworkYour PC and Android device on the same Wi-Fi. Set the Windows network profile to "Private". If your PC is on a wired network, turn on the Windows "Mobile hotspot" feature and connect your Android device to that Wi-Fi; syncing works that way too.
Music playerUse any player you like. Poweramp is recommended: play counts, ratings, and playlists work most reliably with it.

Getting started

  1. Install iTunes for Windows (64-bit) and iSyncX for Windows on your PC.
  2. In the iSyncX window on the PC, click "Add an Android device", then scan the QR code with "Register with QR code" in iSyncX on Android.
  3. On the "Sync" tab on Android, choose the folder to save songs in.
  4. On the "To sync" tab, choose "All songs" or the playlists to sync.
  5. On the "Sync" tab, tap "Sync".
  6. On the "Now playing" tab, tap "Allow" and allow notification access. It's needed to record your plays.

iSyncX on the PC doesn't start automatically. Start it on the PC before you sync.
