Privacy policy
Effective: September 25, 2026 · Updated: September 27, 2026 (provider name)
This policy explains how iSyncX (the Android app and the Windows app, "the app"), provided by DIGITAL GRAPHER ("the author"), handles your information.
1. The author does not collect your information
- The app has no servers run by the author. The app does not send any information to the author or to third parties.
- There is no account to create or sign in to.
- The app contains no advertising, usage analytics, or crash reporting.
2. Information kept on your device and PC
To sync, the app keeps the following on your Android device and your PC. It is exchanged only between your device and the PCs you added, on the same network, over an encrypted connection.
- Android device: the song files you synced, a copy of song information such as titles, play records (when, in which music player, and for how many seconds you listened), the history of rating changes, and information about the PCs you added.
- PC: the list of Android devices you added (device names), a record of what was written to iTunes (so it can be undone), backups of your iTunes library, and an activity log (which does not include song titles).
The app's data on your Android device is excluded from Android cloud backup.
3. Android permissions
- Notification access: used to know the song that is playing in your music player (title, artist, album, and position). Android requires this permission for an app to know what is playing in other apps. The app does not read or store the content of your notifications (messages, email, and so on).
- Read music files (optional): used to match the song that is playing to a file on your device. Read only; the app works without it. The app does not use photo or video permissions.
- Folder for songs: the app uses only the folder you choose on Android's standard screen. It does not use the permission to access all files on your device.
- Network: used to find and talk to your PC on the same Wi-Fi.
- Notifications: used to show sync progress and a notification for rating the song that is playing.
4. Parts that use Google services
- QR code scanning: scanning the QR code when you add a PC uses a feature of Google Play services. Google Play services performs the scan, and the app receives only the content of the QR code (the PC's address and information to verify it).
- In-app purchases: Google Play handles purchases. The author does not receive your card or other payment details. To confirm a purchase, the app may receive purchase information (such as an order number) from Google Play.
Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) applies to these parts.
5. Information you send when contacting us
If you email the author, the author receives your email address and the content of your email (including any app version or device model you include). This is used only to answer you and to look into problems, and is not shared with third parties except as required by law.
6. Deleting data
- The app's data on your Android device is deleted when you uninstall the app. Synced song files stay in the folder you chose.
- The app's data on your PC is deleted when you uninstall the app. Backups of your iTunes library are kept to protect you; delete them yourself when you no longer need them.
7. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version and date will be posted on this page.
